GO AHEAD CALLER, YOU'RE ON THE AIR...

Spent today with lovely married friends, M and T.

Interesting news: M and T met up with large group of friends, including ex-boyfriend of 5 years, estranged for 10 months- MC

M: "I don't know how to tell you this, but we all went out for dinner last Thursday night and MC brought a girl with him..."

Me: (Bastard! Heartless BASTARD!!) "Oh really? Good for him."

M: "I asked him if he was dating her, and he insisted no, they were just friends...and besides, there's no competition - I don't say this about alot of people but...well...she was pretty ugly."

Me: (Hahahahah!) "Ah well, I don't really care if he's dating again. He's either going to meet a girl that makes him grow up, or he's going to screw her head around too."

M: "I really don't think he's dating her. She's from his work and they had something that they had to do together that afternoon and then he just brought her along. They didn't even speak to each other much all night. And as I said, she's no competition for you anyway. He's an idiot."

Me: (Yes, yes he is...yes...he...is...) "I baked you guys a chocolate banana bread."

I like to bake. It makes the house smell nice.

As for MC? I don't think he's dating Faceless Ugly Work Girl...He said to me only 2 weeks ago that he was happy, he was going out all the time and that he "liked quite a few girls". He said to M that he hardly ever went out, wasn't interested in anybody and spent most of the time at home - that he spends most of his time just working.

Will the real MC please stand up (and be a man)?
